Why don't my airbrush work? I get this a lot from new airbrush students. Below is a few tips that will help you make your airbrush do what you want.

No.1; THE AIRBRUSH, I use the Iwata Revolution BCR it is a siphon feed airbrush and you will need bottles to draw your paint from. Some airbrushes are NOT designed to push automotive paint through. The thinners and lacquer thinners will melt your airbrush if not designed for automotive paints. The Iwata Revolution can push automotive and water base paints.

No.2; WATER BASED PAINT, water base paints need to be strained. Using pantyhose pour your paint from it's container into your bottle straining it with the pantyhose. Next you may need to thin your paint, I use Windex glass cleaner. I have had good results using Windex. If your paint is too thick it will spit and spatter on your project. ...

With a new year new opportunities come about. Our NEW web site is our opportunity to reach out and teach airbrushing to those who can’t travel to our training center. The opportunity you have is you can now download our classes and learn airbrushing as if you were in our classroom.
